The Ebro Delta is an ideal place for cycling trips. Enjoy the scenery without much physical effort with your partner, friends or family. The characteristic of the land, completely flat, makes this one of the best means of transport to visit the delta and the lagoons, rice paddies, viewpoints...

Sant Carles de la Rapita is one of the exit points of the Ruta de las Lagunas. By completing this route on two wheels you can visit the lagoons of Encanyissada and Tancada and famous landmarks such as the interpretation center of Casa de Madera (the House of Wood) or the village of Poble Nou del Delta. You should pay attention to the hundreds of birds that you can see from the viewpoints or when taking a little break and take pleasure in the sights of the delta landscape.

In Estación Náutica you can rent bikes and hire a guide. These services are also offered to travel the Vía Verde of the Tierras del Ebro, 49 km runs along the old railway from la Vall de Zafán, linking la Puebla de Híjar (Aragón) with Tortosa. You can discover the Natural Park dels Ports, through tunnels and bridges of great height, to reach the river Ebro and the monumental city of Tortosa.
