What is Estación Náutica?

The Water sport center, La Estación Náutica, is an association of companies, institutions and groups that come together to offer a wide range of leisure to enjoy Sant Carles de la Ràpita and Delta de l'Ebre. In the Estación Náutica we will coordinate and provide you with new experiences and emotions. Breathe and feel the life of one of the largest protected areas in Europe: the Natural Park of Delta de l'Ebre.

"Estación Náutica is a nonprofit association that promotes a new tourism model based on cooperation, quality and sustainability, to contribute to a dynamic and socio-economic development of the country through the joint efforts of the public, the private and the institutional sectors."

To accomplish these objectives, the Estación Náutica is being supported by the City council of Sant Carles de la Rapita, honorary member and promoter of the project as well as other major tourist institutions: the Tourist Board of Tarragona, Catalonia Tourism and Turespaña.

The Estación Náutica is a member of the Nautical Association of Catalonia (Asociación de Estaciones Náuticas de Cataluña) and the Spanish Association of Estaciones Náuticas. There are currently 30 Estaciónes Náuticas throughout the country.

In 2010 the Estación Náutica Sant Carles de la Ràpita-Delta del Ebro received the right to serve as an information point of the Natural Park of Delta de l'Ebre.
